Meeting times

Who the HELL schedules meetings at 1:30 when we usually go to lunch at 1:00? Our schedule is 9:30 to 6:30, meaning lunch is usually in the 1 o'clock time frame. Sooooo, why would someone schedule a meeting in the middle of the lunch time. Especially a weekly meeting that takes at least an hour. Lunch then is 15 minutes or starts at around 3:00?! Jeez, that is just rude. What is the proper meeting protocol. Meeting timeframes should exclude half an hour before your group's  lunch and half an hour after it ends. I'm sure the bosses are happy about it though. Short lunches for everyone (everyone in the company is on salary) equals more productivity added to the bottom line, right?
